I provide a comforting, safe environment to address issues holding you back from achieving your goals. I believe you are the expert on your life; my goal is to offer clinical expertise to resolve your specific issues.
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) stemming from domestic violence, sexual assault, and childhood sexual abuse. I also help families in crisis, focusing on divorce, co-parenting issues, and single parent transitioning. I also have expertise working with clients struggling with hoarding.
A particular expertise of mine is working through trauma related to those who are first responders (EMS, Police, Fire) as I have spent almost two decades working alongside law enforcement and have acquired deep insight of both personal and systemic issues of those connected to first responding careers. My hope as a clinician is to provide as much support as possible in this area.
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional by the International Trauma Training Institute. I also hold certification in Cognitive Processing Therapy for the treatment of Hoarding Disorder. I received my master’s from Fordham University in Clinical Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker here in the state of Connecticut. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy across my clinical work.
