Dr. Cynthia McNeill is a nurse practitioner (NP) with a focus in family medicine and psychiatry, specializing in patients 12 years of age and older. She is passionate about providing quality, evidence-based care to her clients. She believes that a holistic, patient-centered approach is of the upmost importance and leads to more successful patient outcomes. Her practice is inclusive in nature and is an LGBTQIA safe space.
Dr. McNeill is an Associate Professor of Health, Human Services, and Science at Ashford University. She earned her Ph.D. in human services with a specialization in health care administration from Capella University, an MSN for University of South Alabama focusing on family practice, an MBA and a BsIT from AIU, and a BSN from Emory University.
She has been an assistant professor for over a decade, teaching across several healthcare programs at both baccalaureate and master’s levels in gerontology, healthcare administration, management, and nursing. Dr. McNeill was named Director of the Year by the International Nurses Association (INA) for her work in community care. She is a member of the United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
