Congratulations on taking the first step toward change. If you are reading this you have recognized that something in your life is not working. Perhaps you are experiencing conflicts at work, maybe you are stuck in an unhealthy relationship, or somehow just feel inauthentic. Together, in a safe and collaborative setting we can work to better understand unhealthy functioning and move to create change. My style is nurturing, honest, supportive and infused with humor.
I work with children, adults and seniors, to relieve pain, lessen stress and develop appropriate coping strategies for relieving symptoms of depression and anxiety, often brought on by life transitions.
I have a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a Master’s degree in Teaching from Columbia University. I completed a fellowship at the Columbia University Child Study Center where I did research on early diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders. I trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT. I am also a licensed yoga instructor versed in mediation techniques.
