I specialize in helping children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of emotional difficulties including anxiety, depression, and anger management. I have worked with individuals as well as families. My experience of working in both inpatient and outpatient settings allows me to help manage a crisis and subsequently focus on longer-term goals. I use my training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Collaborative Problem Solving to minimize stress, problem-solve, and work towards identified goals. I utilize relaxation techniques along with other coping skills to create a safe and comfortable environment.
I received my Master’s of Social Work at Fordham University in New York and my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at Tulane University in New Orleans. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Connecticut and New York.
Additionally, I am a 500-hour certified Vinyasa Yoga instructor.
