We all experience moments in life that leave us feeling anxious, hurt, angry or lost. To avoid burdening others, we might put on a brave face and try to hide our pain. But the weight of our troubles can be exhausting to manage alone. My goal is to create a space just for you, where you can feel supported, and heard. Whether you are a young child struggling with behavioral issues, an overwhelmed or burned-out parent, or an individual seeking meaning and purpose; I offer this space to you.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and focused on discovering and applying your strengths. I value and embrace human diversity in all forms and acknowledge the effects that cultural and systemic systems have on our lives. In my work, I strive to not only understand the problem, but the things that make you, You.
I call upon a variety of effective treatment modalities to fit the unique needs of each client. Common theories utilized in session include psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and positive psychology. I am also certified in trauma informed, attachment-based models, that utilize the parent-child relationship as a tool for healing and improved communication. If you feel I may be able to support you or your family’s needs, call to schedule a brief consultation. I look forward to meeting you.
