I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being honest about your experiences and challenges. My goal is to provide a supportive, welcoming space where you can openly explore what is on your mind without fear of judgment. I enjoy working with adults from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences, and I strive to help clients gain greater self-understanding, confidence, and clarity as they navigate life's difficulties.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, addiction, trauma, relationship concerns, grief and loss, ADHD, OCD, family conflict, self-esteem issues, and career-related challenges. My approach is insight-oriented and collaborative, helping clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring treatment to each person's unique needs and goals. I believe meaningful progress happens when clients are able to approach therapy with honesty, vulnerability, and a willingness to explore themselves more deeply.
I earned my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Marist College and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have worked in the mental health field for more than 16 years and have completed advanced supervision training. My experience working with a broad range of concerns allows me to help clients develop practical coping skills while fostering lasting personal growth and self-awareness.
